Ryan is the Research and Agronomy Specialist with the Prince Edward Island Potato Board, conducting research trials and extension activities directly with potato growers as well as a number of research collaborators. Primary areas of investigation include improved crop rotations to mitigate disease & improve soil health, improvements to tillage and soil structure, improved seed management, and precision agriculture approaches in potato production.

Ryan completed his B.Sc. (Agr) at the Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture and his M.Sc. from the University of Guelph. He is a Professional Agrologist as well as a Certified Crop Advisor.
