Dave Menninger is a community application designer and creator, currently working for the Community Innovation & Action Center at the University of Missouri at St. Louis. In 2018 Dave began to develop the St. Louis Vacant Property Explorer as a volunteer in coordination with the St. Louis Vacancy Collaborative, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, and the City of St. Louis. In parallel, he also worked with St. Louis University's Prof. Dana Malkus to develop a neighborhood organizations map to assist in identifying and activating neighborhood associations as key actors in reclaiming abandon properties in St. Louis.
