Andrea Purdy-Steenholdt was born and raised in small-town Nebraska. She moved to Omaha to pursue her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Sociology and began working in a number of nonprofit leadership positions. From the field of performing arts, to food banking and now land banking, Andrea has over fifteen years’ experience in managing nonprofit operations.
Her civic engagements include serving on the Earth Day Board of Directors, participating in ModeShift Omaha’s Citizen’s Academy and mentoring students through the TeamMates program. She was also a proud recipient of the 40 Under 40 Award in 2019. Outside of work, she spends all her time with her wife and daughter. She enjoys traveling, concerts, coffee and cocktails.
