Ashley Rae Turner is a familiar face in Omaha, using her communications skills to bring greater equity to local communities and move our city forward. From leadership development nonprofits and cultural/historical preservation organizations to elected councils and community revitalization organizations, her years of public relations, communications and public outreach experience span many clients. She is an IAP2 Public Participation Professional, trained to expertly manage community engagement and public participation in a respectful, positive and effective way that fosters the best possible outcomes for all parties.
Her expansive community involvement includes chairing I Be Black Girl Gives and the Heartland 2050 Equity & Engagement Committee, serving on MAPA's Regional Planning Advisory Committee (focused on regional planning and development opportunities in North and South Omaha) and membership with the iap2 Midwest chapter and Nebraska local network, ULI Nebraska, Crew Omaha and the UNL Alumni of Color Network's advisory council. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated - Delta Epsilon Omega chapter.
