Erica Faaborg is the Deputy City Solicitor for the City of Cincinnati Law Department where she works closely with the city’s policymakers and code enforcement departments to address vacant and deteriorated properties. Prior to becoming a municipal attorney, Erica had several years of experience in a Chicago-based boutique civil rights law firm after which she moved back to her hometown of Cincinnati to serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Magistrate Karen L. Litkovitz of the United States Court for the Southern District of Ohio. She joined the Cincinnati Law Department’s Quality of Life Division in 2015 to work alongside and eventually lead a team of talented and dedicated attorneys focused on abating nuisance properties and as Deputy City Solicitor she continues to provide guidance and advocacy on a variety of issues involving nuisance properties.
