Sharon Lapides is responsible for administering the Landlord Engagement and Outreach Services at the
WHA. Before joining the WHA, Sharon served for 10 years as the Director of Housing Services at SOS
Community Services where she oversaw emergency shelter, rapid rehousing, COVID Emergency Rental
Assistance and other programs that assisted families experiencing homelessness. Prior to this, Sharon was
the Founder and CEO of Community & Home Supports in Detroit where she oversaw staff of Housing Support Coordinators/Case Managers/Supervisors/Accounting Staff/Direct Care Worker. Sharon has a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University and an MSW from the University of Michigan. Sharon is a licensed Social Worker in the State of Michigan.
