Dan Kelly

Dan Kelly is a longstanding advocate for ending homelessness among other notable causes.  Dan currently serves as the Executive Director of the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County (SAWC).  He also serves as the Board President for the Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness, Board Secretary of the Washtenaw Housing Alliance, on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Animal Rescue League, and adjunct faculty at Oakland University. He joined SAWC in 2017 and has worked to lend his energy and expertise in non-profit management since that time.  Prior to this, Dan served as the Executive Director of Spero Housing Group an affordable housing development corporation and Housing Director of South Oakland Shelter.  Dan holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors in Anthropology from Michigan State University.
