Have had successful program participants nominated and chosen to receive Community Action Awards at the Capital in Lansing for Community Action Day 3 years in a row. Chair of the Communications, Marketing and Partnership Committee and currently planning and organizing awareness events for November Homeless Awareness Month to raise awareness of homelessness in Rural Northern Michigan. Duties include but are not limited to case management of those actively experiencing homelessness or those at risk of homelessness, as well as supervise a team of case managers across an eleven county service area.
