Bruce graduated from Temple University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and has a Master of Public Administration degree from Villanova University. Bruce has twenty plus years working in public/low-income housing sector in multiple managerial roles at the Philadelphia Housing Authority, two state housing agencies and the City of Philadelphia. As the Assistant Deputy Director at the City of Philadelphia, Office of Homeless Services, Bruce oversees operations at City of Philadelphia funded access points ensuring homeless is rare, brief, and non-recurring in the city by streamlining access to emergency housing and rental assistance programs. Bruce is committed to ensuring the most vulnerable Philadelphians have equal access to homeless assistance services.
