Name
Case Management: Unsheltered and Sheltered
Description

Do you to brush up on your case management skills or are you new to your position and looking for the essentials? This session will share housing focused case management for those in emergency shelters or unsheltered. Case management services should be adapted to understand the unique needs of those experiencing homelessness, such as: trauma informed practices, mental & physical health needs, income opportunities, housing assistance, connection to mainstream resources, etc.  Case Management must be client-driven, including a focus on identifying strengths, opportunities and support systems to help identify positive, permanent housing.  Join this session to dig into these essential elements.
