Given the current environment of resistance to change and political backlash, it is extremely important that the work to advance racial equity and justice across the homeless response system continues to move forward. We must address the disparities experienced by Black, Indigenous, and people of color as a critical part of our efforts to end homelessness, which means retreating back to “business as usual” is not an option.
