Sandi Mose
Sandi Mose has served the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services for 27 years. She has worked in a variety of positions including Family Independence Specialist and manager, Statewide Food Assistance Payment Accuracy Manager, and District Manager in Macomb, and Genesee Counties.
For the past 11 years, Sandi has served as the Genesee County Director of Economic Stability Administration (ESA) programs overseeing 267 staff who issue $14 million dollars monthly in food assistance to Genesee County residents and serve over 100,000 Medicaid recipients, as well as other income eligibility programs.
Sandi also oversees the adult services programs in 18 counties and 120 staff. These program areas include Adult Home Help, Adult Protective Services and Adult Community Placement.
Sandi earned a bachelor's degree from Saginaw Valley State University and her master's degree from Central Michigan University.
Thirty-one years ago, Sandi married her high school sweetheart, Jerry. She is the proud Mom to Megan Gugel and Jared Mose and Nana to Elliott Gugel (3 years) and Baby Gugel (September 2023) and Baby Mose (November 2023).
