This session will share how our agency built a youth drop-in and education center for homeless youth and young families that is welcoming, inclusive, and youth led. We will explore why the center was needed, how youth voices shaped the design and daily practice, and how trauma-informed, low-barrier approaches guide our work. Participants will learn practical strategies for designing youth-centered space, engaging youth as partners, and strengthening community support so programs better reflect what young people say they need.
