Eric Hufnagel
Currently the executive director of the Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness, Eric Hufnagel has been engaged in helping vulnerable populations as both a staff member and volunteer with various local, regional, statewide and national organizations for 35 years.

Mr. Hufnagel has extensive professional experience in the non-profit sector including executive, program management, and outreach/engagement roles at the statewide and national level.

He is a member of Michigan’s Homeless Policy Council (MHPC) that oversees Michigan’s Campaign to End Homelessness and is also the immediate past chair of the Michigan Balance of State Continuum of Care.

Hufnagel is currently the mayor of the City of St. Johns. He earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and Master of Public Administration from Western Michigan University.
