Katlynn Kretz joined Cinnaire in 2017 and is currently an Equity Underwriter out of our Lansing, MI office. As an Underwriter, she evaluates, structures, and closes affordable real estate investments across their multi-state footprint. ​

Katlynn has a strong background in underwriting tax credit equity, working with Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), state housing tax credits, Historic Tax Credits (HTC), and opportunity zone investments. ​She would describe herself as a firm advocate for racial equity, accessibility, and quality affordable housing. She enjoys speaking about her years of experience in tax credit underwriting, real estate investments, and community economic development.

Katlynn graduated from Michigan State University with a dual degree in Political Science (specializing in World Politics) and Economics.
