Lisa Willcutt, CPM® is a principal of Lockhart Management & Consulting, LLC (LMC) located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. LMC is responsible for the management and leasing of multi-family and commercial properties in Southwest and West Michigan. With more than 20 years’ experience in her field, she maintains a State of Michigan Real Estate Brokers License and is a Certified Property Manager® by the Institute of Real Estate Management.
As a founding Principal in LMC, Willcutt is responsible for the conventional needs of residential properties, all operations typically associated with Federally-assisted housing, and the challenges of enhanced resident services. Additionally, Willcutt oversees management of three nonprofit commercial buildings in downtown Kalamazoo. She has worked directly in managing LIHTC, project-based Section 8, permanent supportive housing, 202/8 and Section 811 PRAC properties. She also has coordinated the full Market-to-Market restructuring of two properties, refinanced properties using the HUD 223(f) program, as well as initiated a mortgage rate roll-back when appropriate. Willcutt has experience writing HUD capital advance requests that allowed for the development of new affordable housing for persons with a disability.
Willcutt is a graduate of the Leadership Kalamazoo program and serves as the president of Guardian Finance and Advocacy Services, an organization that assists individuals retain their independence. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and English from Western Michigan University.
