I was born in Royal oak Michigan in 1967. The graduated high school in 1985 and went to college at Eastern Michigan in 1990. During my college years I discovered that I was an alcoholic and have certain mental illnesses. I also developed radical political views and studied many forms of spirituality. My alcohol is in the mental illness led to my being homeless at least three times during the 90s. Again in 2013 and then the last time 2019. In February of 2019 I was sleeping at the Delano center, drinking every night until achieve sobriety in August of 2019. I am a former high school math teacher. And I'm currently working on a program that helps homeless individuals develop their executive functioning and social emotional skills.
My life today consists of maintaining my sobriety and mental health, being active in my community, and developing my training program. I would be happy to tell you more about the neuro training initiative, just ask!
