Alisha currently serves as a Regional SOAR Navigator for the Southern portion of Michigan. Alisha has been passionate about working with individuals experiencing homelessness throughout her career with a special focus on addressing the various needs of individuals who experience mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders. Alisha has experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team providing targeted case management, assertive community treatment, and crisis intervention services. She also has experience working as a PATH street outreach provider and as a full-time dedicated SOAR practitioner in Grand Rapids, MI. She enjoys using the skills, knowledge and experience she has to help educate service providers on how SOAR helps to promote recovery and resiliency amongst those served. Alisha received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University.
