Justin Marshall has spent his entire 23-year banking career at Fifth Third Bank. His first 8 years were spent managing various groups in the operations area before moving into Fifth Third’s Commercial Real Estate group. Justin was a Commercial Real Estate underwriter for 6 years and was responsible for managing a portfolio of $350MM in exposure while structuring new real estate transactions. These transactions included multifamily/office/hotel/retail as well as LIHTC, HTC and NMTC transactions.

Justin then spent 6 years as a Community Development Lender focused on originating LIHTC, HTC and NMTC loans. During that time Justin originated 47 transactions that totaled over $450MM.

Justin is currently the Community Development Lending Group Head. In this position Justin leads a team of professionals who originate community development loans across Fifth Third’s 11 state footprint. The team is focused on providing construction and permanent financing for LIHTC, HTC and NMTC projects.
