Elizabeth is part of SME’s Environmental team. With more than 10 years of experience, she works with developers, communities, businesses and local agencies to facilitate brownfield redevelopment across Michigan. Elizabeth specializes in managing brownfield and economic development incentives and US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfield Multipurpose, Assessment, Revolving Loan Fund (RLF), and Cleanup grants. She has extensive experience in the application and management of a variety of grants, loans, and financing options and regularly works with developers, municipalities, business and government agencies to facilitate private investment in brownfield properties. She also currently serves as Co-Chair for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Michigan Programs Committee and is a board member of the Oakland County Economic Development Corporation and the Oakland County Business Finance Corporation.
