Ashia is a dedicated professional with a background in program coordination and community engagement. With experience as a Program Coordinator for A.R.R.O and a Community Engagement Specialist with Nation Outside, she has advocated for returning citizens and their families, addressing their challenges and connecting them with essential resources. Ashia holds certifications in CCAR Ethical Considerations and Project ASSERT, and she has completed the Recovery Coach Academy. Currently pursuing her General Studies associate degree, Ashia is passionate about using her own lived experience of homelessness to advocate for housing as a basic human right.
