David Kolata is VP of Policy for Sealed, where he leads the company’s regulatory and legislative efforts to advance energy efficiency, building electrification, and virtual power plants. Prior to joining Sealed, he was the Executive Director of the Citizens Utility Board, an organization called the “gold standard of consumer groups nationwide” by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. David graduated with a degree in Government from the University of Notre Dame. He received a master’s degree in political science from the University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. in the same subject from Vanderbilt University.
