Jacob serves as the Chief Real Estate Development Officer at Dwelling Place where he supervises all development and asset management functions of the organization. Jacob works with fellow staff members to structure and close complex housing and community development projects with various layers of financing, and to manage the ownership functions of those assets throughout their life cycle. Jacob also implements the development of for-sale shared equity housing through Dwelling Place's community land trust. These homes are affordable to low-and-moderate income households and will become a perpetual community asset by creating attainable homeownership opportunities for future buyers.

Prior to joining Dwelling Place, Jacob was the VP of Development at PK Companies for 10 years, running the day-to-day operations of its affiliated development company. Jacob also worked at Cinnaire where he administered its new markets tax credit programming and at Plante Moran as a staff CPA. Jacob has a BA and MS in accounting from Michigan State University.
