Yasmine's journey with Dream of Detroit began in 2016 when she was introduced to DREAM at a career fair, leading her to become a Street Fair intern in 2019, which inspired her to someday work for the organization. After her experience with Dream of Detroit, she decided to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Studies at Wayne State University, further adding onto her enthusiasm about the city and community development. She went on to become an Economic Development Fellow with CEDAM, and began her position as Economic Development Associate with Dream of Detroit in 2022.
