Chad Benson is MSHDA’s Director of Development and oversees MSHDA’s Development Division. In his time with MSHDA, Chad has worked with the underwriting, selection, and development of multifamily housing developments and has been involved with the development and implementation of numerous Qualified Allocation Plans, which determine how the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit resource will be allocated throughout the State of Michigan. Additionally, Chad has been a member of various groups that have worked to develop new processes and programs for MSHDA. Prior to joining MSHDA, Chad received his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Management from Hope College.
