I have been working in housing and homeless services for over a decade. I also have little kids who love Daniel Tiger, so now I find myself in meetings thinking of the lessons taught on the show. Working in housing and homeless services is hard work, and getting overwhelmed with our clients' day-to-day processes and needs is easy. In this session, I will go over some of the things I can forget when I am entrenched in the work and notice others may have overlooked when I am doing group work. I hope that attendees will have fun while we talk about mistakes, sharing information, and more.
