Brad Ward is the Vice President of Public Policy and Legal Affairs for the Michigan Realtors®. He has been with the association since 2001, earning his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, and law degree from Wayne State University. Brad is the chief lobbyist for the Realtors® involved in the development and implementation of legislation for the residential & commercial real estate industry.

In addition to Brad’s time at the Michigan legislature, he volunteers on several public advocacy boards, including Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP), Michigan Chamber Tax Policy Committee, and the Housing Michigan Coalition. Brad is immediate past-chair of the Government Affairs Directors (GAD) Advisory Committee for the National Association of Realtors® (NAR).

Brad’s leisure time is spent with his wife Brandy, an elementary school teacher, and their two sons, Tyler & Derek, both active in sports. Lastly, Brad’s love of music keeps him busy as the lead guitarist in “The Dupes” - an Oakland County area band.
