Cathy Sheets has spent her career in community development; working to build vibrant neighborhoods and working to ensure individuals have access to safe, decent, and affordable housing. Currently, she is a specialist for MSHDA’s Section 811 Project Rental Assistance (811PRA) program. The program supports people with disabilities who qualify for Medicaid in their transition out of nursing facilities, out of foster care, out of homelessness, or to maintain their presence in the community. She is a graduate of Evangel University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, she's married, and she has three grown children.
