Brooke assists with developing and implementing Smart Home America (SHA) policy priorities at the local, state, and national levels. She holds a Master's of Urban and Regional Planning and a Master’s of Science in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Michigan. Brooke has a strong background in environmental sustainability, social justice, and community engagement and has worked on various interdisciplinary projects, including developing circular economy indicators for Ann Arbor, MI, creating a Healthy Housing Indicators map for Habitat for Humanity, and formulating a public participation plan for the City of River Rouge.
