Tam E. Perry is an associate professor at the Wayne State University School of Social Work. She is a co-leader of the NIH-funded Community Liaison and Recruitment Core of the Michigan Center for African American Aging Research. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Gerontological Society of America. She is the research chair of Senior Housing Preservation-Detroit.
