Lyndi Smith has 16 years of experience in the public sector. She has been with the Kalamazoo County Government for eight years, serving as Operations Division Chief and Public Information Officer for the Health & Community Services Department, and, in the last 3 years, as Deputy County Administrator of External Services. In her current role, she oversees the departments of Animal Services & Enforcement, Communications, Health & Community Services, Housing, Parks, and Planning & Development. She holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University.
