I am the Executive Director of the Michigan Land Bank Association. I was hired over a year ago to establish our organization as a 501c3, and elevate the organization to a higher level of service and advocacy for Michigan Land Banks. I spent 27 years in county government in the Treasurer's Office and was the County Treasurer and Land Bank Chair for 12 years. I am also the Executive Director of the Benzie County Land Bank Authority. This has given me the "boots on the ground" perspective of land banking.
