Katelyn Engler is a dedicated social worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a strong commitment to supporting individuals in recovery. She has spent the past three years with Harbor Hall, working in the transitional program and overseeing recovery homes. With a passion deeply rooted in her personal upbringing and nearly a decade-long career in child welfare, Katelyn has witnessed firsthand the profound impact of substance use disorders on families.

Throughout her work, she recognized that one of the greatest barriers to long-term success for individuals in recovery—especially those working toward family reunification—is access to safe, affordable housing. Katelyn is a strong advocate for bridging that gap, believing that stable housing is a vital component not only for sustained recovery, but also for strengthening families and communities. Her work is driven by the belief that healing and hope can flourish when people are given the opportunity to rebuild in a supportive environment.

Katelyn brings a compassionate, community-centered perspective to her work and is passionate about creating pathways to recovery that truly support lasting change.
