2026 Call for Proposals

The 2026 Building Michigan Communities Conference (BMCC) returns to the Lansing Center on May 12–13, 2026, and we need your expertise to deliver the biggest and best affordable housing event possible.

BMCC brings together more than 1,200 housing financiers, developers, asset managers, homeless service providers, elected and public officials, and policymakers to explore innovative solutions to tackle housing challenges and build stronger communities.

We’re seeking innovative, thought-provoking proposals for 60-minute sessions that deliver meaningful and actionable takeaways for attendees.

Proposals should align with one or more of the five topical tracks being offered at BMCC 2026:

  • Asset Management
  • Community and Economic Development
  • Homeownership Finance and Development
  • Preventing and Ending Homelessness
  • Rental Finance and Development

Proposals will be accepted through Friday, October 17, 2025. Notifications will be made by Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
