Tracking and monitoring spending during the CoC grant's period of performance can be instrumental in informing programmatic decisions, engage in future planning, and making adjustments to the grant. This has become even more of an important exercise during the pandemic with multiple challenges impacting spending and grant performance. In this session CoC Recipients will be provided with suggestions and tools to analyze spending trends, and factors to consider when determining if a budget amendment could be considered. How to request a budget amendment from the HUD Detroit Field Office, as well as an outline of how the amendment is processed, will be provided.
