Come learn about exciting programs that MSHDA offers our Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) participants! The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program enables HCV participants to increase their earned income and reduce their dependency on assistance and rental subsidies. FSS participants work one on one with their local Resource Coordinator to achieve goals they set for themselves. Goals include gaining or improving employment, earning a degree, improving their credit scores and buying a home through the Key to Own program! Participants have the opportunity to purchase a home using their voucher an receive assistance with their mortgage payment!
