This presentation will discuss the housing concerns of older adults, particularly emphasizing the correlation between housing stability and health/well-being. This talk will also examine national housing concerns using an equity lens of housing and health challenges. The presenters are from a broad-based coalition organized around housing, Senior Housing Preservation-Detroit. Members of the coalition will also offer perspectives on the unmet needs of the low-income older adult population in urban congregate living.
