Amanda Gallaher, MPH is a Public Health Consultant with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services in the Tobacco Prevention and Control Unit. She collaborates with local organizations in communities throughout Michigan to create smoke-free and aerosol-free environments in multi-unit housing, parks, beaches, and schools and provides education about strategies that support tobacco prevention and cessation. She was previously a health policy research analyst with the Michigan Legislature and has worked in community health in the nonprofit sector. She earned her Master of Public Health and Bachelor of Science Degrees from the University of Michigan.
