Annie Urasky (she/her/hers) is the Director of the Division on Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing within the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. With over ten years of experience in public administration, she is passionate about advocating for and elevating equitable practices which impact Michiganders who are deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing. She currently serves as the Secretary of the National Association of State Agencies for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NASADHH) and was selected as a member of the 2020 leadership class of Oakland County Executive’s Elite 40 under 40. Born Deaf, Annie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
