Jeanine Yard is Training Coordinator at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services - Housing and Homeless Services Division as well as the state SOAR lead. As Training Coordinator, Jeanine has provided coordination of training and professional development for homeless service grantees and professional development for MDHSS staff for 5 years. Prior to this, she spent seventeen years as a Program Officer at the Michigan Community Service Commission providing support, guidance, and training first to school districts and community organizations engaged in service-learning and then to AmeriCorps programs across the state of Michigan. Yard has more than 43 years of combined experience working in nonprofit and grants management, national service, youth development programs and homeless services.
