Tonya is the MSHDA Neighborhood Housing Initiatives Division Director. She attended and received a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Policy Analysis and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University and completed the University of Notre Dame’s “Leading in an Era of Complexity” Program. With over twenty-five years at the State of Michigan, she brings a tremendous amount of experience in state and federal regulations and policies which has enabled her to establish both a technical and supervisory role at MSHDA. She has authored several national award-winning grant programs that provide assistance to households statewide.
