This interactive session will discuss various strategies for collaboration between beginning instrumental and general music teachers. We will discuss resource commonalities appropriate for both settings, and teaching strategies for beginning instrumentalists that both mimic the learning processes that has been established in the general music classroom and have imbedded individual assessment. We will experience the transfer of aural leaning to an instrument and to note reading.
