In this session, we will experience folk dances appropriate for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The dances are taken from Phyllis Weikart’s “Teaching Movement and Dance” books/CDs. Participants will discuss opportunities for differentiation and creative teaching. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for dancing.
