Violinists’ finger mobility, sensitivity and strength have played a very important role from the beginning stages of forming a good bow hold until they advance to the artistry of tone production and bow control. This session will explore, in particular, finger exercises and repertoire which will help young violinists to develop strong and sensitive fingers for the various demands of violin performance.
