Implementing a purposeful spiral curriculum ensures student growth and success, while still allowing numerous opportunities for joyful and creative music making. Proper sequence in the elementary music classroom is essential at the macro level (I.e. curriculum planning) but also at the micro level within individual concepts. In this session, participants will explore concept sequencing through a Kodály-inspired lens.
