By the time we have tried to satisfy the standards at the national, state, district, and building level, it might feel that there is little room left for our own creativity as educators; yet, this is precisely the reason we pursued teaching in the first place. In this session, we will first explore ways to connect to our individual core values in teaching and then discuss strategies to streamline curricular and logistical choices to support the vision we want for our students and programs.
