In this session attendees will participate in assessments that focusing on the student creating. Participants will experience an assessment at the primary level, intermediate level, middle school level and high school level. Participants will experience the unpacking of the assessment, or preparing for the assessment, as well as doing the assessment and reflecting on their work. Finally participants will be shown how their data can be used to demonstrate educator effectiveness, as well as the results of a collaborative scoring project that gave collaborators an opportunity to compare their assessment strategies with colleagues across the state of Michigan.
