Alison Geesey is a music educator and choral conductor, currently pursuing a master's degree in choral conducting at Michigan State University. Alison originally hales from Pennsylvania, where she graduated with her bachelor's in music education and master's in music theory from Penn State University. Alison taught 8th grade general music and middle school choirs for 3 years in State College, PA, before moving to MI to pursue graduate studies at MSU. She currently assists with the Women's Glee Club MSU State Singers and serves as a teaching assistant for the musicology department at MSU. Alison also has the privilege of directing the MSU Children's Choir through the Community Music School. In addition to choral music, Alison is passionate about vocal health and caring for the speaking voice in the classroom.
