Kate Hyne is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Music in Music Education with Honors. She has served a year as an AmeriCorps Service Scholar through the MSU High School Equivalency Program, teaching migrant and immigrant students in a bilingual education program. Currently, Ms. Hyne is an Elementary Music Educator at Warren Woods Public Schools. Previously, she was the Director of the St. Mary Children's Choir, and has been the guest of the Michigan Capitol Building. She is a member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). She is also a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Education.
