Sarah received her Bachelor’s degree in music education from Michigan State University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Education at The University of Michigan. Sarah is an oboe player who has performed with various ensembles at Michigan State University and Interlochen Fine Arts Camp. Sarah was also a member of the Spartan Marching Band. Sarah currently teaches for Birmingham Public Schools and is the Director of Bands at Derby Middle School. She conducts the 6th,7th and 8th grade bands along with the jazz band. Sarah has also served as the Director of the Grand Ledge Community Band, the Director of Bands at Fowler Public Schools, Central Lake Public School and Ellsworth Community Schools.
